Frank Paul Argese
HAMILTON SQUARE - Frank Paul Argese,
79, of Hamilton Square,
passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014,
surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton,
Frank was a longtime Hamilton
resident. He attended Trenton Central
High School, and the Bordentown
Military Institute (BMI), as well as Drexel
University. Frank served in the
United States Air Force in the Military Police during the Korean War, after
which he served with the National Guard. He then went on to work for the State
of New Jersey with the Department
of Transportation. He retired in 1991 after 30 years of service with the state.
Gifted with a beautiful tenor voice, Frank enjoyed singing. He appeared on Al
Albert's TV variety show, and was a member of St. Joachim's choir for many
years, under the direction of Carl DiDonato. He was
also a member of Boehme Opera Company of NJ, and
performed in La Boehme at the Villa
Victoria Academy.
Frank enjoyed entertaining family and friends with his amazing voice. He
performed at many events and special occasions throughout his life. Son of the
late Onofrio and Josephine Panfen
Argese, and husband of the late beloved Dolores Ballone Argese, Frank is survived
by two sons, David and his partner, Kenneth O'Brien of Yardley, PA, and Gregory
of Hamilton, NJ; his grandson, Daniel, and Daniel's mother, Karen Argese of Robbinsville, NJ. He is also survived by his
niece, Patty Bartram and her husband, Dan; his
nephews, Bob Malinoski, Gary Malinoski
and his wife, Terri, and Richard Zerrenner and his wife,
Rose, several great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends, as well as
his goddaughter, Nancy Mangano Guidone
of Chicago, IL, and her twin, Roseanne Mangano of
Alexandra, VA. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at 8
a.m. from the Saul Colonial Home, 3795
Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30
a.m. at St. Gregory the Great
R.C. Church,
4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton
Square, NJ. Interment will
follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton. Relatives and friends may
call on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014,
from 4- 7 p.m. at the Saul Colonial
Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank's memory,
to St. Jude's Research Hospital,
Tribute Program, 501 St. Jude
