Irvin S. Woodward of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Friday June 15, 2012. He was 82 years old. Born October 7, 1929 in Westville, NJ, he was the son of the late Walter B. and Florence (nee Van Sciver) Woodward and the beloved husband of the late Mariam McCabe. Irvin was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in the Korean War. Some of his hobbies included model airplanes and trains. Irvin was a very active man and was always doing something. He was a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything. Irvin also raced speed boats and participated in his first race at the age of 62. He was devoted to his family and they will miss him dearly.
Irvin is survived by his two sons; John and his wife Janet of Port Charlotte, FL and Scott of Puerto Rico, five grandchildren; Jacqueline, Stephanie, Jorge, Christopher and Scott, and two great grandchildren Kayla and Reilly. He was preceded in death by his three brothers.
