Deceased Name: Ronald Formella
OAK RIDGE –
Ronald Formella, 63, formerly of Glen Rock, died on
Nov. 8.
He resided in Glen Rock before moving to Oak
Ridge 15 years ago. He was a member of the Radio Club
of America, served on the Board of Trustees of the Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation, was a past president of the Independence Day Association in Glen
Rock and a mason with the William F. Burke Lodge #230. He was also an Eagle
Scout and lifetime member of the NRA. A graduate of the Bordentown Military
Institute, he remained active with the institution. He was also a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson
University in Teaneck.
Most recently, he was a business broker with Vested Business Brokers in New
York City. Additionally, for the past 15 years he was
a handyman throughout New York
and New Jersey. Prior to that he worked for IBM and Motorola as
well as owning Sat Com, Inc. and Data Systems Consultants.
He is survived by his children, Adam Formella
and Liza Deaett and husband
William; his grandchild, Liam Edmund Deaett; and his
parents, Edmund and Franciska (Kluge) Formella. He was predeceased by his wife, Patti (Grizzell) Formella.
Cremation was private. Arrangements were by Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home in Fair Lawn.
